RECITAL 26' "IMAGINE"

IMAGINE

IMAGINE took place on Saturday, June 20th @ 7:00pm.

This performance was held at the historic Steamer no. 10 Theatre.

Directed and Choreographed by Marcus Rogers, IMAGINE,

was danced by students of Marcus Rogers Dance Company,

along with Rogers.

Much of this show was performed to the iconic music of “The Beatles”.

Dancers embodied a nostalgic spirit of hope, love, and possibility.

To a full house of spectators, IMAGINE was an artful, testimonios reminder that "the opposite of war isn't peace, it's creation" .

I highly recommend Marcus’s adult dance classes. He’s skilled and so knowledgeable with various dance forms. He also takes time to break down technique to help the raw beginner dancer, as well as the seasoned dancer, understand the steps and combinations. They’re fun and inspiring!

His teaching style is motivating, patient, thorough, and clear. He is genuinely committed to ensuring that you learn the proper techniques. He recognizes progress and knows when you’re prepared for a new challenge even if you don’t, yet he never pushes you beyond your limits. He knows how to present challenges in a way that will not leave you feeling like you can't ever achieve a particular dance move. His persistence and dedication to your progress are truly inspiring.

Marcus is a fun, patient and talented dance instructor. He caters to adults of all levels and his passion for dance comes through in each class. His choreography is amazing, upbeat and fun! Marcus offers a variety of classes too, including contemporary, ballet, hip hop and more! Everyone in the classes are so welcoming and we have a lot of fun with no judgement!!!
